MSCI (MSCI) (MBFI) (MDVN) (BMTC) (WBSN) (CGV) Ratings, Price Targets

MSCI (NASDAQ: MSCI), MB Financial, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBFI), Medivation (NASDAQ: MDVN), Bryn Mawr Bank (NASDAQ: BMTC), Websense Inc. (NASDAQ: WBSN) and CGG Veritas (NYSE: CGV) ratings and price targets.

MB Financial, Inc. (MBFI) had its “Hold” rating reiterated by Jefferies Group (NYSE:JEF).

Medivation (MDVN) had its “Buy” rating reiterated by Jefferies Group.

Raymond James (NYSE:RJF) initiated coverage on MSCI (MSCI). They placed a “Market Perform” rating on the company.

Bryn Mawr Bank (BMTC) had its price target raised by Sterne Agee to $22.50.

Websense Inc. (WBSN) had its price target lowered by FBR Capital from $23.00 to $20.00. They have a “Market Perform” rating on the company.

Analysts downgraded ratings on Baytex Energy Corp (NYSE: BTE), Lowe’s (NYSE: LOW), North American Energy Partners Inc (NYSE: NOA), Scotts Miracle-Gro (NYSE: SMG) and Lorillard Inc. (NYSE: LO).

TD Newcrest downgraded Baytex Energy Corp (BTE) from a “buy” rating to a “hold” rating.

Morgan Stanley (NYSE:MS) downgraded Lorillard Inc. (LO) from an “overweight” rating to an “equal weight” rating. They have a price target of $105.00 on the company.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM) downgraded Lowe’s (LOW) from an “overweight” rating to a “neutral” rating. They have a price target of $26.00 on the company.

Raymond James (NYSE:RJF) downgraded North American Energy Partners Inc (NOA) from an “outperform” rating to a “market perform” rating.

Ratings on (ORCL) (NETL) (NTAP) (CNH) (FITB) Upgraded

Ratings on shares of Oracle (NASDAQ: ORCL), NetLogic Microsystems, Inc. (NASDAQ: NETL), NetApp Inc. (NASDAQ: NTAP), CNH Global (NYSE: CNH) and Fifth Third Bancorp (NASDAQ: FITB) were upgraded by analysts today.

ThinkEquity upgraded Oracle (ORCL) from a “hold” rating to a “buy” rating. They have a price target of $40.00 on the company.

Raymond James (NYSE:RJF) upgraded NetLogic Microsystems, Inc. (NETL) from a “market perform” rating to an “outperform” rating. They have a price target of $40.00 on the company.

BMO Capital Markets upgraded NetApp Inc. (NTAP) from a “market perform” rating to an “outperform” rating. They have a price target of $65.00 on the company.

UBS AG (NYSE:UBS) upgraded CNH Global (CNH) from a “neutral” rating to a “buy” rating.

Sanford C. Bernstein upgraded Fifth Third Bancorp (FITB) from a “market perform” rating to an “outperform” rating.

Suntech (NYSE:STP), First Solar (Nasdaq:FSLR), Energy Conversion Devices (Nasdaq:ENER) Rated by Raymond James

For better or worse, the solar sector continues to garner a lot of attention, as Raymond James rated Suntech (NYSE:STP), First Solar (Nasdaq:FSLR) and Energy Conversion Devices (Nasdaq:ENER).

Suntech was upgraded by Raymond James from "Underperform" to "Market Perform." They had also been upgraded by Deutsche Bank AG (NYSE:DB) from "Hold" to "Buy."

For First Solar Raymond downgraded them from "Outperform" to "Market Perform," and Energy Conversion Devices was downgraded from "Market Perform" to "Underperform."

First Solar closed Tuesday at $143.92, falling $3.15, or 2.14 percent. Suntech ended the session at $8.85, dropping $0.59, or 6.25 percent. Energy Conversion Devices closed at $4.64, losing $0.35, or 7.01 percent.

Raymond James (NYSE:RJF) Upgrades Halliburton (NYSE:HAL), Shares Soar

Halliburton (NYSE:HAL) got more good news Tuesday, as Raymond James (NYSE:RJF) upgraded the energy company from "Outperform" to "Strong Buy." The price target was also increased from $49 to $52.

Analysts wrote in a note, “HAL's significant North American leverage coupled with its diverse international portfolio position it well for solid earnings growth and strong returns on capital over the next several years.”

Halliburton vastly exceeded earnings expectations for the last quarter, citing natural gas drilling in the U.S. increasing profits by 80 percent.

The company closed at $30.27, gaining $1.10, or 3.77 percent.
