Great Basin Gold (Amex:GBG) Upgraded by RBC Capital
Great Basin Gold (Amex:GBG) has been generating a lot of interest as their two key mining projects are about to be both online, and historically when production begins at a mine for the first time it can be very profitable to invest.
Evidently with that in mind, RBC Capital upgraded Great Basin Gold from "Outperform" to "Top Pick."
The two major projects of Great Basin are the Hollister mine in Nevada and the Burnstone mine in South Africa.
At full capacity Hollister will produce close to 120,000 ounces of gold annually, while Burnstone will produce around 250,000 ounces of gold on a yearly basis.
Burnstone has more risk being in South Africa, but that would be something to look at more in the long term than the short term.
