BP (NYSE:BP) Lands Total Waste Management Contracts

Total Waste Management Alliance has awarded BP (NYSE:BP) with contracts worth $6.4 million to take care of its drill cuttings.

Included with the responsibility to fulfill the contracts is the handling, processing, recycling, containment and disposal of drill cuttings at out-of-the-way platform locations.

BP will do the work from a Transocean (NYSE:RIG) semisub dubbed Paul B Loyd Junior, using equipment designed and operated equipment by Total Waste Management Alliance.

The two-year deal will also include the provision of services for thermal processing, involving bulk waste containment. The installation of bulk storage tanks would also be part of the agreement.
