Japan’s Kawasaki Heavy Industries (KHI) awarded Alcoa (NYSE:AA) Fastening Systems with the recognition of being the 'Best Supplier of the Year.'
Parameters which determine the award are for maintaining high quality; on-time delivery; and quick, responsible action. The award was for 2009.
“We are honored to receive this award. Quality, delivery and customer support are considered critical aspects of our business, and we appreciate being recognized by one of our strategic customers. This is a result of our strong working relationship with KHI,” said Craig Brown, VP of Global Aerospace Customers and Marketing for AFS.
Alcoa Fastening Systems unit of Alcoa designs and manufactures a variety of fastening systems across a number of industry sectors.
