General Dynamics (NYSE:GD) has delivered the fourth ship to American Petroleum Tankers, via their subsidiary - General Dynamics NASSCO.
The double-hulled ship, dubbed Empire State, is 600.4 feet long, and is able to carry up to 331,000 barrels of cargo.
Empire State was build to transport refined petroleum products for the Department of Defense under a commercial charter.
American Petroleum Tankers is a joint venture of the Blackstone Financial Group.
