Quadra Mining Quarterly Results
Quadra Mining (TSE:QUA) has released its quarterly results, and they enjoyed a significant improvement over same quarter last year, with earnings coming in at $46.4million or 47 cents a share for the last quarter.
That's in comparison to the year before when they took a big loss of $126.1 million or $1.94 a share. The reason for the stronger performance was higher copper prices and higher sales volume.
For the year, net earnings ended at $80.5 million or 89 cents a share as of December 31, 2009. Overall revenue came to $459.5 million, with that coming from 144.7 million pounds of copper selling and 95,735 ounces of gold.
